Booster Scholarships
Each year, Boosters awards two or three $1,000 scholarships based on a student's performance in both extracurricular activities and academics.
The scholarship can be found on the BHS website under "Our School/About Us/Counseling Department/Local Scholarship Application Forms"
REQUIREMENTS

Applicant's family member must be in good standing of the BHS Booster club for the membership year in which they are applying.

Applicant must be a senior at BHS and graduating the year in which they are applying.

Applicant must have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 or better.

Applicant will be attending a 2 or 4 year college or university, technical school, school, or trade school following graduation at BHS.

Applicant cannot be a recipient of an NCAA Division I scholarship.

Applicant must be an active member of at least one BHS Booster supported activity during the year in which they are applying.
APPLICATION

Applicant must complete the BHS Local Scholarship Application Form (in packet in main office).

Applicant must write a one page essay (double spaced) describing what being in a sport, club or organization at BHS has meant to him/her.

Applicant must use the BHS Booster Club Scholarship Application Recommendation Form (in packet) and request 2 recommendations. One recommendation must be from a teacher familiar with applicant's academic abilities and another from a coach or sponsor of a BHS Booster supported activity the applicant has participated in. Each recommendation needs to be returned to the applicant in a sealed envelope, with the author's signature across the seal and then be turned in by the applicant with their completed application.
