ABOUT US

The Fine Arts Boosters is a group of fun & passionate parents who value and support the BHS Fine Arts programs.  These programs include:  Theatre, Visual Arts, Speech, Orchestra, Choir, and Band.  We work to support the efforts of these teachers and students.  Our fundraising efforts each year support the needs of these programs that can't be filled through the school budget.  There are many opportunities to participate and volunteer your time.  We hold monthly meetings that are open to all who wish to support these fine art programs.  

MEMBERSHIP

Do you have a student participating in any Fine Arts program?  Do you want to support these students?  Then please join FAB.  Membership is free and easy to join.  We hold monthly meetings where we plan and organize our fundraisers and volunteer efforts.  We also listen to director input to best assess how to enhance their programs.

FUNDRASING

Our big fundraisers are the Annual Craft Fair in the Fall and Take a Seat Fundraiser that runs throughout the school year.  We also hold 50/50 raffles and sell candy grams at theatre performances.   

What does the money go towards? 

FAB has contributed funds for the following:

  • Scholarships to seniors who plan to stay involved in Fine Arts in college

  • Payment for Art Show judges and purchase of ribbons

  • Payment towards tournaments and camps

  • Senior recognition ribbons

  • Purchase of instructional materials to enhance Fine Arts classes

TAKE A SEAT FUNDRAISER

 

​We sell custom engraved brass nameplates that are attached to seats in the BHS Auditorium.  This fundraiser is ongoing and provides an opportunity to leave your mark at Bartlett High School while providing funding for a well-used school space.

NAME PLATES will be attached on a first-come-first-served basis.

 

 

Purchasing a nameplate does not entitle ownership, special access, seating rights, or seating reservation rights. Nameplates are approximately .75 x 4 inches and will be attached by the seat number so that they are visible when the seat is in the upright position.  Donations for nameplates are tax deductible as allowed by law, and a receipt will be provided to you.
